About this Event
193 Thompson Road, Oswego, NY 13126
Just three days after spring officially begins, what signs of the changing season can we find at Rice Creek Field Station? Rice Creek Assistant Director Kristen Haynes will lead participants on a 1-mile nature walk highlighting wildflowers, birds, and any other signs of spring we come across.
Each walk lasts approximately 1 hour. The 11:30 am walk is for faculty and staff and the 1:15 pm walk is for students. Please note that per Oswego Forward policy, family members of faculty and staff are not allowed to attend. Pre-registration is not necessary: simply meet the group in front of the field station at the start time. Participation is limited to 10 individuals per walk.
This program runs rain or shine. Please dress for the weather, and wear boots or other sturdy, water-resistant shoes. Participants can drive or catch the 11 am or 1 pm Green Shuttle from Marano Campus Center to attend these programs.
