This march, led by ALANA organizations, is designed to bring together students from all walks of life and to demonstrate diversity within the Oswego community. The goal is to build lasting relationships with the community on and off campus.

The peace walk will be in celebration of the March on Washington, which took place on Aug. 28, 1963. The March on Washington’s purpose was to create awareness of jobs and freedom in America. This walk's purpose is to promote unity amongst the students, faculty and staff within the campus community and Oswego’s residents. The march will begin at the Oswego City Hall and will culminate at the SUNY Oswego quad in front of Penfield Library and the Marano Campus Center. Hosted by Black Student Union.
