Moderated by Director of Arts Programming Lowell Hutcheson, this upcoming Civic Discourse Series discussion on Arts, Culture and American Democracy features panelists Davana Robedee (director of Tyler Art Gallery), Laura Donnelly (professor and chair, Department of English and Creative Writing), Danielle Hodgins (assistant professor, Theatre Department), and Michael Raicht (assistant professor, Department of English and Creative Writing). The group will discuss the role of the arts in shaping, critiquing and influencing American culture and politics, as well as the state of the arts in the current political climate.
