DESCRIPTION:CEO and Founder of Greek University Dr. Mike Ayalon will facili
 tate a workshop geared towards students on how to eradicate hazing practice
 s within fraternity and sorority life by fostering a culture of respect\, s
 afety and genuine camaraderie. Participants will delve into the historical 
 roots of hazing to understand its origins and persisting factors. They will
  explore the deep-seated reasons behind hazing and its extensive ramificati
 ons\, including legal\, psychological\, and communal impacts.\n\n \n\nA sig
 nificant focus will be on identifying hazing activities and cultivating pro
 active bystander intervention strategies. Students will learn to recognize 
 the early signs of hazing and effectively intervene to prevent harmful scen
 arios from unfolding. Moreover\, the workshop encourages the creation of me
 aningful and engaging alternatives to hazing that promote unity\, skill-bui
 lding and healthy interactions among members\, thereby achieving the cheris
 hed goals of brotherhood and sisterhood without the cost of individual well
 -being and group integrity.
