Carrying On In Uncertain Times

The Division of Extended Learning is offering a 3 session online workshop "Carrying On In Uncertain Times".  The  workshops are being held April 28, May 6, and May 13 beginning at noon.

In these three 90 minutes sessions, discover the top things to do, and not do, when working from home to make it a successful and productive experience for you and your organization.   We will touch on the following topics with discussion, large and small group sharing, reflection and journaling (responding to topical question prompts). Discover practical how-to successful strategies.   We will discuss best practices, coping mechanisms, tools, and techniques that will provide some assistance and relief in this uncertain and chaotic time.  Each session will also address honoring yourself and remembering the importance of Self-Care through the following

  • Confronting our emotions and fears; dealing with overwhelm and social separation
  • Managing work/home boundaries
  • Assisting others in dealing with their emotions and fears – our kids/parents/isolated loved ones
