Final concert for retiring orchestra conductor Dr. Juan F. La Manna. More than 70 alumni from the past 27 years will join the College Orchestra in a grand concert in Sheldon Hall. The concert, in two parts, will feature works by Haydn, Bach, Beethoven, Copland, and Stravinsky, and the world premiere of a guitar concerto by alum Emmet Van Slyke.
