"Creating Positive Connections with Children: Lessons from a Play Therapist," Oswego Alumni Webinar

Join Dr. Jodi Weinstein Mullen ''92 M'94, professor in the SUNY Oswego Counseling & Psychological Services Department, and director of Integrative Counseling Services, as she shares expert tips on creating positive relationships with children and how to help them thrive!

Dr. Mullen, PhD LMHC RPT-S, arrived at Oswego in 1988 as a freshman and never left. She earned her BA in Psychology in 1992 and MS in Human Services Counseling in 1994. Dr. Mullen returned to campus as a visiting professor in 1996 for the Psychology Department. Since 1998 she has been a professor at SUNY Oswego in the Counseling & Psychological Services Department. She is the founder and coordinator of the Graduate Certificate Program in Play Therapy.

Dr. Mullen primarily teaches in the Mental Health Counseling Program at SUNY Oswego. She is also the Director of Integrative Counseling Services, with several offices in Central New York.  An international speaker, author, credentialed play therapist and play therapy supervisor, Dr. Mullen has over 25 years in the field of counseling. She has authored books on play therapy, counseling children and adolescents, grief counseling and parenting. She is the proud Momma of Leah and Andrew.
