Thornton and Bonzo will talk on “New York State SPARCS dataset: Opportunities for teaching, research and community engagement.” The presentation will include an overview of the SPARCS (Statewide Planning and Research Cooperative System-SPARCS) dataset and its current uses within the MBA-HSA program. Three research projects will be discussed which demonstrate utilization of the dataset at patient, hospital and county level. The session will close with an open discussion regarding opportunities for collaboration and future work. Light refreshments will be available.
