About this Event
View map Free EventWhy let Junior Naturalists have all the fun? On the first Saturday of the month, Rice Creek now offers a themed nature walk program open to everyone and geared to a general audience on a similar theme as that month's Junior Naturalist program.
This June will focus on animals that love this wet spring weather: frogs and toads.
Rice Creek is home to many species of these amphibians, from the tiny but loud spring peeper to the massive bullfrog. Join naturalist Tim McMonagle for a program and trail walk to learn about frogs and toads, including how to identify them by sight and sound.
Please dress for the weather: boots are highly recommended.
Individuals seeking accommodations to attend this event should reach out to Rice Creek staff at rcfs@oswego.edu at least one week before the program start date. Any other questions can be directed to this same email address.
