SUNY Oswego's Living Writers Series is honored to present a reading and conversation with Vuk Lungulov-Klotz.
Vuk Lungulov-Klotz is a Chilean-Serbian filmmaker raised between Chile, New York City, and Serbia. He is an alum of the Sundance Institute Labs, the Tribeca Film Institute, the Ryan Murphy HALF Initiative Program, and SUNY Purchase. As a transgender storyteller, he hopes to expand queer narratives. His award winning debut feature film, Mutt, premiered at the Sundance 2023 Film Festival, had its international premier at Berlinale 2023, was the closing night film at the New Director/New Films Festival in New York City, and is a popular Netflix choice. Vuk currently lives in Brooklyn and is working on his next feature film.
The Department of English and Creative Writing has brought hundreds of writers into the campus community, from Nobel, Pulitzer and Emmy winners to new voices. The Living Writers Series is supported by the Department of English and Creative Writing and ARTSwego, and made possible by the Student Arts Fee: Visit www.oswego.edu/arts for more arts programming. Organizers are also deeply grateful to the Oswego Reading Initiative, Latino and Latin American Studies program, Department of Curriculum and Instruction, SUNY PRODiG, The River’s End Bookstore and Subnivean.
