On July 30, 2020, NASA's rover Perseverance was launched. Its destination: Mars. After an elaborate "sky crane" landing procedure, Perseverance will join its aging brother, Curiosity. Perseverance is equipped with a variety of instruments, many of which are geared toward finding signs of past or present life. The campus community is invited to watch the landing live and get questions about the mission answered. This event will be capacity limited to comply with social distancing procedures with proper masking and other precautions to be followed, so attendance is first-come, first-served.
