Mindful Yoga

A three-part restorative practice focused on body/mind/breath awareness, mindful movement, and appreciation of the present moment. Each of the three sections last approximately 15-20 minutes. Late comers are welcome to join at anytime during the first 30-40 minutes. Section one is a rotating guided group exercise such as visualization, aromatherapy, pranayama (breathing exercise), self-massage, sound therapy, etc. Section two is a restorative asana practice utilizing vinyasa and yin style yoga poses to guide the body into loosening and aligning. Section three is  an extended savasana/meditation to encourage self-compassion, active presence, and mindful awareness of the present. No previous experience necessary, classes are free and no gym membership is required.
