Curricular Practical Training (CPT) is temporary work authorization for practical training  (i.e. an internship or cooperative program) that directly relates to your major field of study). CPT authorization is required for all F-1 visa holders who wish to participate in an internship experience during their studies here at SUNY Oswego.

In this workshop, learn from the International Student and Scholar Services Office and the EXCEL Office about applying and securing an internship related to your major, as well as the steps to obtain CPT authorization.

This workshop will be particularly helpful if you have to do an internship as part of your degree program, or if you are interested in learning how to apply for a co-op or internship as an international student.
