Optional Practical Training (OPT) is post-graduation work authorization for F-1 visa holders which allows them to gain real-world experience related to their field of study.

In this workshop, the International Student & Scholar Services Office will guide you on the steps necessary to prepare your OPT application. 

This session will be particularly helpful if you are nearing graduation. For prospective December graduates, you will be able to submit your OPT application as early as Monday, Sept. 12, so be sure to attend an upcoming OPT workshop:
