Come one, come all to The Lake Effect Café,
Where poetry will flow in a fabulous display.
Our Poetry Slam Night will begin at half past seven,
So come along and let your poetic talent be given.

We'll have snacks aplenty to fuel your creative mind,
And giveaways too, for those who join in line.
Journals for poets who aspire to write,
Will be given away, so don't miss this sight.

We're celebrating National Poetry month,
Join us for a night to remember and flaunt.
Let your words be heard, let your heart sing,
At our Poetry Slam Night, let your spirit take wing!
