Come and enjoy some time in nature! Rice Creek Field Station has 5 miles of hiking trails that skirt ponds, wetlands, and woodlands. Our trails are open from dawn until dusk, and always accessible via the upper parking lot close to Thompson Road. Bring your cross-country skis, snowshoes, or boots.  

When the field station is open (generally M-F 9 am–4:30 pm & Sat 9 am–3 pm; more restricted hours around Christmas and New Year's), adult-sized snowshoes are available to Crusin' the Campus visitors.
