Planetarium director Dr. Scott Roby will point out the bright stars and constellations for summer evenings and tell some mythological tales behind the constellations, including Cygnus the Swan and Delphinus the Dolphin. Star maps provided. The show also includes some brief excerpts from the full-dome video "Back to the Moon, "showing past and future human explorations of the moon to celebrate the upcoming 50th anniversary of the first Moon landing on July 20, 1969.
Seating is limited, so please arrive early. Children 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Free, including parking in the Centennial Drive lot (E17) or Washington Boulevard lot (C8).
