The Amherst Police Department, a suburb outside of Buffalo, is hosting a Police Dept Recruiting event. They have invited several other agencies to join them on July 15 from 5-7.  They have 9 different police departments confirmed to be in attendance and organizers are still waiting on 2 others from Erie County. Additionally, Erie County Civil Service Staff will be on site as will personnel from the police academy and Erie Community College.
