Power Networking with SCMA Superstars

Several outstanding School of Communication, Media and the Arts alumni will share their experiences and advice with the Oswego family.  Discover how to transition from SUNY Oswego to career paths related to Broadway, Television, Music, Radio, Publicity and Digital Content Management.  The talk will also cover what you should be doing now as a student to prepare for supercharged success after COVID.

Participating alumni include:

  • Rufaro Matombo ’12: Matumbo is currently a digital content manager for Safe Horizon, and has past experience as a freelance video editor with 21st Century Fox, former radio promotions coordinator for Emmis Communications and social media/website manager for a community group.
  • Dawn Marcoccia ’93: Marcoccia has 25 years of experience as a NYC star dresser, wardrobe supervisor and designer on sets including "Swing!," "Let it Be," "Rock of Ages," "Radio City," "Sasha Dance Theater" and more. 
  • Juliana Hannett, '95: Hannett is currently the vice president of Rubenstein, and her work history includes serving as a publicist for the Disney Theatrical Group (Broadway: "The Lion King," "Aladdin," "Frozen") and senior publicist for Polk & Co., Philip Rinaldi Publicity and Boneau/Bryan-Brown.
