This study-abroad course will visit Mossel Bay, South Africa where you will learn to photograph, write, film and edit your own wildlife project in one of South Africa’s stunning wildlife game reserves. See elephants, lions, rhinos, buffalos, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles and abundance of antelope species. Participants will journey to wildlife safaris, animal sanctuaries and some of the country’s top ecotourism expeditions, such as the Indalu Game reserve to walk with elephants.

 

This program is aimed at introducing students to different ways of documenting and creating media around issues of wildlife, conservation, and cultural interactions between people and environments.

 

This course is open to students of all majors and experience levels.
