About this Event
Do you have Quest questions? These office hours will answer them about our annual celebration of scholarly and creative activity, how to present, how to access the presentations and more.
Tips also follow below:
Accessing the Conference Program:
Attendify is the virtual platform hosting the conference program. It has two interfaces, the Mobile App or the Desktop Interface.
Build your Quest profile within Attendify where you can include a picture, bio and link your social media accounts.
In order to engage with the conference sessions, your device will need to have Zoom. All Zoom links are located in the Schedule on Attendify. Please look for your session and open it to find the appropriate Zoom link. NOTE: Have you downloaded the latest version of Zoom? Now, is a great time to update.
Presenter Guidelines:
Find your session in the conference program. Take note of your session title, session chair, time slot and zoom link.
The session chair will have the role of welcoming attendees to that session, introducing the presenters, moderating Q&A and making sure the session runs on time. Coordinate with your session chair to determine how much time you will have to speak.
On Quest Day, about 5-7 minutes before your official presentation time---click on the appropriate zoom link found within the conference program.
Our Zoom settings will allow you to share your screen so that you can present your poster, slides or other files.
Poster Presenter Guidelines:
Poster Session presenters are expected to join us during their assigned time slot on Quest day between 12:30-1:45pm.
Poster presenters will click on the appropriate zoom link identified within the Attendify schedule.
Each poster presenter will have their own breakout room. The session chairs for posters sessions will not be in the breakout room with each individual poster presenter. Instead the Session Chair will be available during the duration of the poster time window and can direct attendees to the appropriate poster breakout room as needed.
Breakout rooms for posters will be found when you enter the primary Zoom room. Your breakout room will be the title of your poster. Screenshots of finding your breakout room can be found on our website here.
Our Zoom settings will allow you to share your screen so that you can present your poster. and field questions by conference attendees who are self-selecting to pop into the breakout sessions between 12:30-1:45pm.
