Have a great idea for a costume but not sure how to pull it off? Need a costume but out of ideas? Have old costumes you no longer want? In this multifaceted event, organizers will guide participants through easy upcycle costume ideas, provide maker's space to bring participants' own ideas to life, and collect and exchange unwanted gently used costumes. Bring yourself, your old costumes, your new costume materials or all of the above. This event is part of the RE:FASHION Festival, a vibrant festival featuring workshops, speakers and community events dedicated to sustainable clothing, reuse and wearable art. Participants weave together knowledge, creativity and community to inspire a sustainable fashion revolution -- with a goal of stitching together a brighter future for the planet, one garment at a time. Pre-registration is required via this link.
