Our February event was so popular, we are bringing it back this March!
Join us for a naturalist-guided snowshoe walk to identify owls by the light of the (almost) full moon! Late winter marks the breeding season for many owl species, a time when we are more likely to hear and see them. If snow cover is insufficient, participants will walk instead of snowshoe. Adult-sized snowshoes (suitable for older children and adults) are available free of charge. Open to all ages. Children under 17 must be accompanied by an adult.
Please wear boots, dress warmly, and bring a flashlight or headlamp.
Tickets are $1 through the campus box office online. Space is limited, so getting tickets early is advised.
