The Entertainment and Theater industries are some of the most exciting career paths you can choose, with an amazing array of options available. It is also one of the most impacted by the current pandemic. Our alumni from Broadway, News and Late Night TV will help you understand some of your options and importantly, what you can do now to prepare for success.

Alumni panelists include:

  • Gabriel Almanzar '05: Almanzar has been putting his BFA in graphic design to work as supervising art director for "CBS This Morning" since 2007. He has worked events like presidential elections and debates, Super Bowls, a royal wedding and much more. Prior to that he worked at ESPN/ABC Sports and collaborated on events like the NBA Finals and Indy 500.
  • Denise Grillo '84: A technical theater major, Grillo has worked with production props for Broadway shows including "Hamilton," "Mrs. Doubtfire," "War Paint" and "The Cher Show."
  • Dave Saretsky '95: Saretsky is a two-time Emmy-winning technical director and currently works with "Last Week Tonight with John Oliver," but has also worked with MTV, HBO and the NBA.
