Dr. Shashi Kanbur, Distinguished SUNY Professor of Astrophysics and Director of the Astronomy Program, will present a post-show talkback immediately following the Wednesday evening (October 15) and Saturday evening (October 18) performance of Silent Sky.  Kanbur's research builds directly off of the work of 19th-century astronomer Henrietta Leavitt, the main character of Silent Sky, who's groundbreaking work measuring the universe's vast distances forever changed humanity's understanding of both the heavens and Earth.
