https://www.oswego.edu/counseling-services/groups-workshops-schedule #TheFoodGroupHumans' connection to food, eating, and meals goes deeper than just what is on your plate. Each month, the Counseling Services Center will discuss a different part of relationships with food in your minds, on your plates, and the people around you.
This drop-in group is held every Monday from 11:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. at a reserved table at each Dining Hall and open to all students. Dining Hall locations rotate each week.
In February, the focus will be on mindful eating practices; March will be internal influences (our thoughts, feelings, ideas on food and what food and nutrition does to minds and bodies); and April will be in external forces on relationships with food.
If you have questions or need accommodation, contact the Counseling Services Center at 315.312.4416.
