https://forms.gle/UN1jqeR4PNNy1dXa6Calling all owl enthusiasts: here is your chance to learn more about the resident owls of our area, and even have the chance to hear or spot one yourself!
Rice Creek Field Station Naturalist Tim McMonagle will lead this indoor/outdoor Wellness Day program. The program will start indoors with a look at some owl specimens and a discussion of their adaptations, and then participants will go on a guided moonlit walk to look and listen for owls.
Please dress warmly and wear boots or other sturdy, water-resistant shoes, and bring a flashlight if you have one. The program lasts approximately 1 hour. Participants must have their own transportation to Rice Creek: the Green Shuttle does not run in the evening.
Students interested in participating can sign up on Rice Creek's Wellness Day registration page. The capacity for this program is 10.
Questions should be directed to rcfs@oswego.edu.
