Zully Ramirez, Investigative Reporter at Telemundo

Zully Ramirez is an investigative reporter for Telemundo Chicago focusing on investigative and consumer protection journalism offering Spanish-speaking consumers opportunities for their concerns to be addressed in various markets throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. Originally from Guatemala, Ramirez received her bachelor’s degree in journalism, worked for Univision, and is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists. She will speak about her career path, the current work she does, advice for students, and balancing this with dual language and culture in the United States. The lecture is free to attend and available to the community on- and off-campus. This event issupported by Public Relations Student Society of America, SUNY Oswego Career Services, ALANA, Latino Student Union, Hart Hall GLLC, Communication Studies Department and the Modern Languages Department.
